Our Vision

Founded in 2013, DES was formed by a team of engineers and technicians who had extensive experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, test and evaluation, design and systems engineering, and survivability engineering. Our vision is to provide innovative solutions to complex problems, using our expertise to solve problems on high-performance systems. Project Vista

Project Vista is an initiative by the U.S. Army aimed at bridging the gap between small business innovation and actual fielded capability. The objective is to encourage larger defense contractors to incorporate technology developed by small businesses into competitive development programs.

Manufacturing

Our state-of-the-art facility in Ladson, South Carolina, houses over 53,000 square feet of manufacturing space, equipped with: 3D Printers, CNC Milling, Lathe, Press Brake, and more. Our facility is capable of producing high-quality products, including welded assemblies, and low-rate manufacturing for customers.

Project History

We are proud to have worked on various projects, including the SBIR Phase II contract for the Active Blast Mitigation System (ABMS) Integration Technology Advancement (ITA) and the Solid-State Circuit Breaker.
