The HCDA Engineering Team

Established in November 1961, HCDA Engineering (formerly Howard C. Dutzi & Associates, Inc.) has served as structural engineering consultants for numerous architectural firms and clients on a diverse range of projects. Our current staff consists of seven licensed engineers, four CAD specialists skilled in both AutoCAD and REVIT modeling, and an administrative assistant.

Our team has extensive experience in designing structures using various systems and materials, such as masonry, timber, structural steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned and prestressed concrete, and foundations of all types, including spread footings, driven piles, and drilled piers.

We are committed to delivering exceptional service, involving ourselves in every aspect of structural engineering services on a project, from concept development to contract document preparation, shop drawing review, and on-site field observations. Our engineers collaborate closely with clients to investigate and evaluate various structural scenarios early in the design process, resulting in efficient and effective designs.
