Harring Construction Quality Issues
Harring Construction has been criticized for their subpar workmanship and failure to provide adequate solutions to property grading and foundation drainage issues. One reviewer, Paul Rowson, claims that Harring Construction failed to properly grade his property and install an effective foundation drainage system, leading to flooding and compromising his crawl space. The issue was further exacerbated by the company's overwatering of neighboring properties, causing surface water to flow towards Rowson's foundation.
Inspection and Repair Issues
Rowson hired JES to repair and restore his crawl space, which estimated to cost around $35,000. However, the inspection report revealed that Harring Construction had failed to properly install the foundation French drain pipe, compromising its effectiveness. The reviewer also questioned the accuracy of the inspection report by Brent Johnson, who blamed grass clippings for the flooding and failed to observe the crimped and buried condition of the foundation drain pipe.
Lack of Responsiveness
Both reviewers who left negative reviews expressed frustration with Harring Construction's lack of responsiveness. Paul Rowson brought his issue to the attention of Chesterfield County officials and his County District Supervisor, who contacted the company, but Harring Construction failed to take appropriate action. Melissa Thompson, another reviewer, reported that the company failed to respond to her bank's calls regarding a suspicious mobile deposit attempt.
Other Issues
Thomas Williams, one reviewer, did not share his negative experience with Harring Construction. Instead, he left a glowing review, seemingly praising his time working with the company. However, his review does not provide any specific praise for the company's quality of work.
