Our journey began in January 1997, when Bobby L. Curry, PE founded Bobby Curry Engineers, Inc., after retiring as the Chief Structural Engineer from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command - Southern Division. Over the years, we have grown and evolved, and in 2004, Bobby's son, Paul A. Curry, PE, took over the company, rebranding it as Curry Engineers, LLC.

Curry Connection Design

Since 2007, we have been offering structural steel connection design services to fabricators and detailers across the country. Our connection design philosophy is built on the principles of constructability, economy, and code compliance. Our designs are created with the fabricator, detailer, and erector in mind, ensuring an economical, safe, and code-compliant connection. Our connection design system is highly flexible, allowing us to rapidly produce designs with accurate, AutoCAD-based sketches. Our calculations are developed utilizing the AISC Steel Construction Manual - 13th Edition, ensuring flawless ASD/LRFD conversion.
