Research and Development
Fibertek's Research and Development division is dedicated to the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of advanced solid-state and fiber lasers, laser communication systems, and sophisticated electro-optical sensor systems. Our unique ability to deliver space flight hardware and pioneering work in electro-optical systems has earned us a globally recognized industry leadership position.
Engineering Services
Our Engineering Services division has been a Prime and Subcontractor for over 25 years on multiple IDIQ contracts, supporting the Army Night Vision Laboratory, Army Research Laboratory, and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. By teaming with other small and large businesses, we have created unique value for our government customers, delivering technical breadth and depth across a wide range of tasks, from infrastructure and logistics to state-of-the-art Military and Civil Space systems.

Facilities
Our modern 50,000 sq. ft. Headquarters and R&D facility in Herndon, Virginia, is designed to support cutting-edge research, manufacturing, and space instrument development. The facility features fully equipped optical/laser and electronics labs with over 10,000 sq. ft. of clean room space. Our quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 certified by Intertek, ensuring compliance with international standards for quality management.
