Midwest Engineering is a licensed structural engineering firm serving businesses and communities in the Upper Midwest. Founded in 2014 by two experienced local engineers, Brent Krohn and Robbie Veurink, the company has built an impressive portfolio of projects throughout the region. With a deep commitment to quality and excellence, Midwest Engineering brings together the principles of engineering, construction, and clientele-based services to offer value, hard work, and trust to its clients.

Our Services

Our team has extensive experience in deep foundation construction and reinforcement, utilizing stone columns, helical piers and anchors, and auger cast piling to help clients achieve foundation success.

Our Leadership

Our leadership team is comprised of experienced engineers who have a passion for delivering exceptional results. Robbie Veurink, PE, PMP, LEED AP BD+C, is a seasoned professional with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University. He has extensive experience in construction, engineering, and public service, and has worked on notable projects such as the Denny Sanford Premier Center and the Spellerberg Aquatic Center.

Brent Krohn, PE, is another seasoned engineer with a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from South Dakota State University. He has experience working on a wide range of projects, including apartment buildings, municipal facilities, and ag buildings, and has a wealth of experience in engineering design and construction.
