Castech Consulting Engineers is a diversified engineering firm specializing in structural design and analysis of civil structures. We have been in business since 1987, and our senior staff has over 35 years of experience in the industry. Our team of experts is well-versed in a variety of analyses, including finite element analysis, internal loads stress analysis, dynamic analysis, nonlinear analysis, and thermo-structural analysis. We also provide consulting engineering services to the Civil / Structural industry, reviewing and approving structural plans and calculations to determine viability and reviewing structural failures to determine cause and effect.

Our services range from performing structural calculations of simple wood framed structures to more complex commercial buildings requiring the use of finite element analysis. We are licensed in the states of California, Nevada, and Texas and have a good working relationship with all local agencies, state agencies, and federal agencies. We specialize in the design and analysis of commercial buildings, residential structures, surface structures, and pharmaceutical tanks.

Specialties

Our specialties include seismic and wind analysis of new and existing structures using state-of-the-art techniques. We are thoroughly familiar with various analysis techniques such as the Equivalent Lateral Force Method, Response Spectrum Procedure, and Response History Analysis for seismic analysis and Push Over Analysis for wind. We also perform nonlinear analysis of tension structures and large deflection analysis for surface buildings.
