Poor Experience with JK Architecture
JK Architecture's performance was subpar, with the author, Vincent Sherman, expressing frustration with their slow and unresponsive approach. During an inspection of the construction project, the author's engineer from JK Architecture allegedly overlooked numerous construction errors, leading Sherman to suspect a conflict of interest due to their relationship with the construction company. As a result, Sherman was left no choice but to seek help from local, well-established architects to mitigate the damage caused by JK's poor design.
Lack of Professionalism and Quality
Sherman's experience with JK Architecture was disappointing, with other architects he consulted expressing similar concerns about the company's work. The author mentions hearing comments such as "That's not how we do things here, " "These guys must be from the valley, " "What the heck were they thinking!", and "That's just sloppy" when examining JK's projects. Sherman believes that the engineers at JK Architecture do not deserve the trust that people place in their engineering stamps, suggesting a lack of professionalism and quality control.
