At Portiva, we are a team of licensed Professional Civil, Structural & Architectural Engineers registered in most of the Pacific States. We are dedicated to improving our environment and the quality of engineering and architecture. As professionals, we play a key role in managing our projects. We employ administrative and field experience in the design, analysis, planning, scheduling, reviewal process, of construction, structures, and site improvements. Our design and communication skill focuses on the rapid conceptualization, constructability, feasibility, environmental sensitivity, comprehensive cost identification, and value-driven project delivery.

We have experience in managing public and private projects in complex environments. This includes: Working for clients with project managers, inspectors, contractors, and other trades as required to bring projects to successful completion. Coordinating with local representatives, trades, agency administrators, and regional and national agencies. Documenting and ensuring compliance with federal, state building codes, standards, and municipal regulations.

Structural Engineering

Full Professional Engineering (PE) services will be arranged, such as: Preparing structural analysis, designing, drafting, and consulting. PE sealed documents for your permit process and plan review. When it comes to structural engineering, we can provide all services for most buildings. We work to create quality, innovative designs while adopting an efficient process to control schedule and costs.

Project Management

We pride ourselves in our flexible approaches, adapting our customized models, operating methods, team structure, tools and processes to "Best fit" each client and project individually, while maintaining all quality, delivery and cost commitments. Plan Checking

Peer Review Have plans ready for submittals but need a licensed Professional Engineer (PE)? We conduct an extensive review of your projects as though they were our designs. If required, we also provide a stamp once the design is deemed safe and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Forensic Engineering

As the Client's unbiased PE, we honorably provide forensic engineering services such as origin-and-cause analysis, damage assessment (moisture mitigation, vehicle/tree-fall impact, or fire/smoke), construction defects, earthquake, and originate general structural assessment and evaluation reports throughout California and states along Pacific coast. Our clients experience the benefits of consulting with a PE and delivering scientifically correct and reliable solutions to some very complex inquiries, which is always extremely valuable.
