L.S. Grim Consulting Engineers is a mid-Atlantic-based engineering services corporation that specializes in the design, construction administration, and management of facilities. We are a full-service mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design and consulting firm, dedicated to providing high-quality services to our clients. Our team consists of experienced professionals who have more than 30 years of experience in the industry.

Our services include the design and specifications for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on commercial, industrial, and high-end residential projects. We work closely with architects, contractors, developers, institutions, and other clients to ensure that their projects meet or exceed applicable building code requirements. Our in-house library includes publications from reputable organizations such as the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the Council of American Building Officials (CABO), the International Codes Council (ICC), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

We also offer construction administration services through our in-house field services division. This division provides organization and management of construction projects for our clients, including site supervision and management. Additionally, we provide general construction supervision for owners to manage and supervise their construction projects, acting as their eyes and ears on-site.

L.S. Grim Consulting Engineers has trained staff to offer Commissioning Services. Commissioning is the process of assuring that all systems and components of a building or industrial plant are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to the operational requirements of the owner or final client. This process can be applied not only to new projects but also to existing units and systems subject to expansion, renovation, or revamping.

Our team is dedicated to providing quality control during the various phases of a project. We have established in-house procedures to organize and expedite the completion of each project. Furthermore, we have a LEED-certified engineer on staff with an expert understanding of the LEED Certification process. A LEED AP is an individual who has taken the LEED Professional Credentialing Examination, which signifies that they have the knowledge and skills to participate in the design, construction, and operations of buildings that meet the high environmental standards of the U.S. Green Building Council.
