Solar Panel Design and Analysis
Our commitment to sustainable energy has led us to design and analyze over 61.48 MW of solar panel installations throughout the Northeast. Our in-house software facilitates the handling of a high volume of photovoltaic design and analysis projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. We are experts in analyzing residential and commercial roofs for the increased load that solar panels add, and our PV design process is constantly evolving to keep pace with the rapidly changing solar panel technology.
Structural Analysis
Penn Fusion Engineering provides the solar industry with structural analysis of rooftops of all types, including residential, commercial, and industrial. Our team of professional engineers is proud to be members of SEIA and has received several awards from HomeAdvisor for our work. Our expertise in structural analysis ensures that your building can support the weight of solar panels, and our AHJ Collaborative program keeps track of specific requirements for the thousands of AHJs.
Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Engineering
Our team of professional engineers has the knowledge and expertise to handle any project, from solar panels to concrete buildings. We provide engineering services for restaurants, apartment buildings, box stores, and other industrial applications. Our equipment support services provide support for industrial equipment with consideration of items such as attachment, alignment, clearances, access, vibration, and environmental factors that could lead to structural corrosion. We also work closely with process and mechanical engineers to provide appropriate support for plant utilities with consideration of gravity, environmental, and thermal loading.
In-House Software
Penn Fusion Engineering has developed specialized software to expedite the structural analysis and PV design of residential roof-mounted solar panel systems. Our software, designed and written by professional engineers, focuses on accuracy and efficiency to maintain quality workflow.
AHJ Collaborative
Keeping track of specific requirements of the thousands of AHJs can be overwhelming. Penn Fusion Engineering's AHJ Collaborative program keeps track of specific requirements for the thousands of AHJs, ensuring that your project meets all necessary codes and regulations.
Analyze a Residential Roof for Solar Panels
Penn Fusion Engineering has released a program to help our clients perform a cursory structural review of residential roof systems. Our summary report helps you understand whether your roof can support the weight of solar panels.
PV Design Software
Our goal was to create an efficient way of producing design plans for residential PV systems. This system would have to be fast, accurate, and include everything needed for a complete design package. Our PV Design Software does just that.
Industrial Engineering
Penn Fusion Engineering designs specialized equipment supports and building modifications for industrial applications. We provide support for industrial equipment with consideration of items such as attachment, alignment, clearances, access, vibration, and environmental factors that could lead to structural corrosion. We work closely with process and mechanical engineers to provide appropriate support for plant utilities with consideration of gravity, environmental, and thermal loading. Our feasibility and structural assessment services evaluate existing facilities for equipment support from existing structures and condition assessment of existing structures. With 3D modeling of equipment and structure, interferences can be addressed before they are found during construction.
