Porter Manufacturing, LLC is a US-based company that has been in operation since 1976. Our journey began by manufacturing and selling agricultural and industrial spray equipment to farm equipment dealers across the United States. Over the years, we have evolved to become a leading provider of design, engineering, and manufacturing services for various industries.

Our History

In the late 1970s, we developed a unique product known as the Wedge-Wik rope applicator, which was marketed through distributors in the US, Great Britain, Argentina, the Netherlands, and other countries. However, the agricultural industry faced a major downturn in the early 1980s, leading to a significant reduction in our employee count and a brief halt in production.

Despite this setback, we remained committed to our mission and refocused our efforts on securing government contracts. In 1986, we began working with the United States Department of Defense, leading to the establishment of a formal Quality Control program in compliance with MIL-I-45208. This marked the beginning of our journey in providing high-quality products and services to our military clients.
