Company History
Bond Minerals Services and Engineering, PLLC was founded as Cromes Metallurgical Consulting in the United Kingdom in 2005 by Melanie Bond, PE Chem Eng. Since then, we have expanded our operations to the United States, Canada, Brazil, Peru, and the Caribbean. In 2010, we became an associate of Blue Coast Research Ltd. of British Columbia, Canada. In 2013, Melanie Bond became licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of South Dakota, and in 2017, we changed our company name to Bond Minerals Services and Engineering, PLLC. Our latest addition is a sample preparation facility which opened in late 2021.
Services Offered
We offer a variety of services including sample preparation, metallurgical project management, consulting, and engineering. Our sample preparation facility is equipped with jaw crushers, a cone crusher, Jones riffles, and a pulverizer for size reduction, splitting, pulverizing, and packaging of samples. Our project management services cover everything from the preliminary economic assessment phase through to the diagnosis of existing processing plant woes. We also provide on-site metallurgical and mineral processing services including comminution, selective sulfide flotation, leaching, thickening, filtration, tailings disposal, water treatment, and personnel training.
