ARS Engineers, Inc. is a 100% minority-owned HUB/MBE/SBE firm that has been providing professional Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Utilities services throughout the State of Texas for over 35 years. With its roots dating back to 1984, ARS has established itself as a trusted partner for municipalities across North Texas, offering a wide range of services that cater to the unique needs of its clients.

Our Story

ARS was founded by Ayub R. Sandhu, PE, RPLS, who had a passion for building and making a difference in the community. Born and raised in Pakistan, Ayub worked in construction before coming to the United States to pursue a civil engineering degree at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He took an entry-level position at a local engineering firm, working his way to becoming a full Partner. However, his real dream was to start his own firm and help build the local community in Dallas. In 1985, Ayub's dream was realized: ARS Engineers, Inc. was born.

Over the years, ARS has expanded its services to cater to the growing needs of its clients. In 2016, the company added Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) to its portfolio, followed by Utility Coordination in 2021. Even though Ayub passed away in 2021, his enduring values continue to guide the company's operations. ARS remains committed to delivering lasting solutions that serve its clients and enrich their communities for generations.
