At WJP Engineers, we take pride in being a leading consulting engineering and surveying firm with a rich history of providing professional engineering services to our clients since 1986. Our team of experienced professionals, led by William J. Parulis, P.E., P.L.S., Richard N. Yutko, P.E., and Gary S. Ryan, P.L.S., are dedicated to delivering top-notch services in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mining Engineering, and Surveying Services.

Our History

WJP Engineers was founded by William J. Parulis, a Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor, with the goal of providing exceptional engineering services to clients in the region. Over the years, our firm has grown and expanded its services to include a full range of Surveying Services. In 2011, we acquired the assets and staff of I&I Engineering, Inc., formerly owned and managed by the late John F. Beadle, P.E., which enabled us to provide mining engineering services to clients in the anthracite coal industry.

Our Services

At WJP Engineers, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to meet the unique needs of our clients. Our team of experts provides Civil Engineering services, including road design, bridge design, and stormwater management. Our Architectural Engineering services include building design, construction administration, and building inspections. We also provide Environmental Engineering services, such as wastewater treatment, water supply, and environmental permitting. Additionally, our Mining Engineering services include mine permitting, planning, and regulatory compliance. Our Surveying Services include land surveying, GPS surveying, and construction stakeout.

Our professional staff is comprised of experienced engineers and surveyors who are dedicated to providing exceptional services to our clients. Our team includes William J. Parulis, P.E., P.L.S., Richard N. Yutko, P.E., Gary S. Ryan, P.L.S., and Dorothy A. Sterner, among others. Our staff is active professionally and locally, and are members of various organizations, such as the National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors, National Society of Architectural Engineers, Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce, Pennsylvania Builders Association, and Schuylkill Builders Association.

About Our Founders

William J. Parulis, the founder of WJP Engineers, is a Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor with over 40 years of experience in the industry. He is a graduate of Penn State with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland, and a Professional Land Surveyor in Pennsylvania. Richard N. Yutko, P.E., is an Architectural Engineer with extensive experience in building design, construction administration, and building inspections. Gary S. Ryan, P.L.S., is a Professional Land Surveyor with expertise in land surveying, GPS surveying, and construction stakeout.
