Our mission is to provide quality, personalized, cost-effective inspection services using sound engineering principles and a strong foundation in the relevant API and ASME codes and standards that govern the design of tanks, piping, and pressure vessels. Our Story

Gary W. Powers, P.E., founder and Principal Engineer, has dedicated his entire career to the fuels industry. With a passion for problem-solving and relationship-building, he pioneered the design and inspection of tanks under MS-DOS, long before modern computing. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated engineering in its truest form, applying science and math to solve real-world problems. Gary founded Powers Engineering and Inspection Inc. in 1999, and since then, the company has adapted to new challenges, focusing on efficiency, adaptability, and agility.
