Our History

In 1882, the company started with a single man, a helper, a transit, and 100 feet of steel tape for measuring the land. Over the years, Dana Perkins, Inc. has surveyed and engineered thousands of acres of land for individual property owners, large corporations, and federal, state, and local governments. The company has been involved in numerous projects, including the Andover Country Club Estates, Endicott College, and the Northshore Shopping Mall. Additionally, Dana Perkins, Inc. has acquired 28 other engineering businesses, owning more property maps than can be counted, many dating back centuries.
