Engineering & Design Concepts, Inc. (EDC) is a small, hard-working engineering/manufacturing firm based in the New York City area. Established in 1998, we vertically integrate Design, Automated Test, and Manufacturing to assist Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in creating and delivering quality, market-leading products on time.

At EDC, we are a leading supplier of Product Development and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) services. Our products and test systems can be found in various industries such as medical, aerospace, military, industrial, nuclear, telecommunications, and commercial markets.

Our Services

• Product Development Services: We design, develop, and fabricate innovative, stylish, and cost-effective products that address the needs of the user. Using Solid Model Based Design for product visualization, refinement, and engineering, we speed the rate at which we understand, communicate, and finalize design solutions. Engaging marketing, engineering, and manufacturing early, empowers the team to bring your products to market quickly and cost-effectively.

• Test Equipment Services: We design, build, and integrate automated and manual test and systems. This includes everything from off-the-shelf turnkey rack systems, roll-up configurations, fixtures, test program sets (TPS's), interface test adapters (ITA's), to in-line test stations with robotic handlers. Need to modernize existing test stations? No problem. With each system, we can provide hardware, software, fixtures, and a complete documentation package.

• Manufacturing Services: Whether it's prototypes or production, mechanical, electrical, or electronic, we can provide our clients with the manufacturing services they need. We have extensive experience in contract manufacturing, milling, turning, sheet metal, EDM, precision/exotic welding, dip/vacuum brazing, ceramics, 3D printing, SLA, finishing, wiring, cable assemblies, PCBA's, wire harnesses, panels, and many others.
