The United Engineering Foundation (UEF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the engineering arts and sciences for the welfare of humanity. Established in 1904, the UEF is the successor organization to the United Engineering Society (UES), which was founded with the generous support of Andrew Carnegie.

Services
As a non-profit organization, the UEF provides grant funding to support engineering projects and initiatives that align with our mission and vision. We work closely with our member societies, including the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers (AIME), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), to identify and support projects that have the potential to make a positive impact on society.
