Our History

Maxson Engineering was founded in 2013 by Steve Maxson, with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Since its inception, the company has experienced rapid growth, expanding its national practice from three states to over 20 states and 10 countries. This growth was fueled by the company's commitment to delivering high-quality consulting engineering services to clients with complex design needs.

Our leadership team at Maxson Engineering is composed of experienced engineers who are dedicated to delivering exceptional results and providing a positive work environment.

• Steve Maxson, PE, LEED AP: Our President and Founder, Steve has a passion for engineering and a drive to make a difference in people's lives. He has a strong background in mechanical engineering and has spent over 20 years in the industry.
• Scott Miller, PE, LEED AP: As our Director of Engineering, Scott has over two decades of experience in mechanical engineering and has designed spaces for national security agencies to educational facilities.
• Brian Bowyer, PE: As our Principal and Electrical Department Manager, Brian has over two decades of experience in electrical engineering and is known for his sense of humor and love of math.
• Chris Geipel: As our Principal and Director of Project Development, Chris has a background in engineering and design and a passion for client interaction and project development.
