Our Story

We are a Colorado-based company with a rich history that dates back over 35 years. Our founders, Jim Shipton, RLA, and Tiffany Watson, P.E., met while working in the western region of the United States. With their shared vision of providing exceptional services to their clients, they founded Point Consulting LLC. Today, our company has grown to include a team of experienced professionals who share their passion for delivering innovative solutions.

• Civil Engineering: Our team of civil engineers is experienced in designing and developing infrastructure projects. We have extensive experience in transportation engineering, water and wastewater management, and environmental planning.
• Landscape Architecture: Our landscape architects specialize in designing outdoor spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We have experience in creating parks, plazas, trails, and other outdoor recreational areas.
• Land Surveying: Our surveyors are experienced in providing a range of surveying services, including cadastral surveying, topographic surveying, and construction surveying.

• Cameron Watson, PLS: A founding partner and licensed land surveyor with over 20 years of experience in the industry.
• Cole DeCrow: A crew chief with expertise in AutoCAD and surveying technologies.
• Michael Tollefson, RLA: A junior partner and licensed landscape architect with a focus on landscape design.
• Mitch Shearer, P.E.: A junior partner and licensed civil engineer with experience in civil engineering and project management.
• Denise Shipton: An administrative assistant with a focus on social media and community engagement.
