Omsberg & Preston, originally established as Omsberg & Company in 1981 by the late Kenneth J. Omsberg, Jr., P.E., P.L.S., is a consulting engineering and land surveying firm dedicated to the success of our clients' projects, big or small. In 2004 Ken began thinking about traveling more and working less, and he took on Kimberly D. Preston, P.E., P.L.S., as a partner. With the passing of Ken in 2007, Kim now carries on as sole proprietor of a woman-owned and operated business with the engineering and surveying work Ken so loved. Omsberg & Preston is committed to providing professional services to the northern California coast area of Humboldt County and surrounding areas, specializing in the areas of Planning/Permit Processing, Civil Engineering, and Land Surveying.
