Our team of experienced structural engineers is led by Brandon Erickson, PE, SE, the firm's principal and founder. With over 25 years of experience in structural engineering, Brandon is known for his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to deliver innovative, yet cost-effective and constructible designs. His extensive structural engineering background has resulted in a number of exceptional projects, and he especially enjoys investigative and forensic projects.

Our team also includes Project Engineer Joshua Peterson, PE, who has over eight years of experience in structural engineering. Joshua is well-versed in developing structural construction documents, supporting calculations, conducting site visits, and producing various structural analyses. His background in construction helps him understand the common difficulties that come with working on existing buildings, and he is skilled at finding unique structural solutions and working effectively with contractors.

As a business manager, Sherry Erickson, PE, brings a unique perspective to the firm. With an MBA and a background in mechanical engineering, Sherry provides comprehensive financial and project management to the firm. Her experience and expertise ensure that our projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Projects

Some of our notable projects include:

• Erickson Structural performed a limited structural evaluation of the buildings at Maui Sunset Condominiums in Kihei, Hawaii. Our team recommended replacement of severely corroded steel posts at the building corner lanais.
• We completed the structural repairs for one building and are currently designing similar repairs for an adjacent building on the same property.
