- Mark Benjamin, President and Principal Engineer: With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Mark is a certified passive house consultant and has a master's degree in structural engineering from Colorado State University.
- Doug Ingelsoll, Engineer II: With a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Kansas State University, Doug has over 8 years of experience in the construction industry and is an avid biker, camper, skier, and hiker.

Engineered Solutions
Mark Benjamin and his company Crown Jade Design and Engineering are praised by several clients for their exceptional services. They are commended for taking rough sketches and creating complete plans, grasping concepts, and going over and above to meet clients' needs. Disappointment and Disputes
One client, however, had a negative experience with Crown Jade. The client suffered a house fire and rebuilt their home, retaining Tri-State Concrete and Excavation under a turnkey contract, which included engineer inspections. Mark Benjamin and Crown Jade Design and Engineering provided a stamped "Structural Observation Report" for the footing and foundation inspections. However, the concrete foundation was poured without following the permit plan, and known flaws were discovered. The client incurred significant expense for additional engineering and repairs due to the defective concrete work and subsequent legal fees.
