Expertise Engineering is a product design engineering company that has been serving clients since 1995. Our company was founded on the principle of providing innovative engineering services to help clients bring their ideas and concepts to life. With a team of experienced engineers, we have extensive expertise in industrial, medical, and consumer product design. Our in-house team of 15 engineers includes mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, software and firmware programmers, and industrial designers.

Mechanical Engineering & Industrial Design

Our mechanical engineers design enclosures, mechanisms, and sensors, working closely with electrical engineers, software and firmware programmers, and industrial designers to craft a comprehensive product. Our team has expertise in designing tooling and has a deep understanding of fabrication techniques, manufacturing, and materials.

Electrical Engineering

Our electrical engineers have expertise in PCBA design, including RF, power supplies, microcontrollers, sensors, motor control, Dust Networks, Zigbee, WiFi, Bluetooth, BLE, and embedded systems. We use Altium and have three total seats.

Software & Firmware

Our software and firmware team has broad embedded experience and can program languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python. Our programmers can work seamlessly with our mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure a smooth development process.

Product Development

Product development is a team sport, and our engineers understand the importance of collaboration. Our experienced team is well-equipped to help clients with product design, development, prototype, tooling, and documentation needs. Expertise Engineering was founded in 1995 by a group of engineers from varied backgrounds with a wide range of expertise in industrial, medical, and consumer product design. We have 7,000 square feet of offices and lab space centrally located in Sorrento Valley, San Diego, CA.
