Our Civil Engineering & Land Development services include full-service civil engineering for commercial, residential, industrial, and municipal development. We have extensive experience in creative solutions for major subdivision projects and have built a reputation as a trusted partner in the development industry.

Our team is highly skilled in waste water treatment facility and utility design, making us the go-to firm for design, permitting, or expansion of large or small water or waste water treatment facilities. We have worked with multiple municipal agencies in Central Florida and have the expertise and knowledge to handle projects of all sizes.

Wicks Engineering Services, Inc. understands the challenges of environmental studies and has dedicated staff to serve clients' needs from a permitting and feasibility perspective. Our team is committed to providing expert services that meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Our Projects

Wicks Engineering Services, Inc. has been involved in numerous projects throughout Central Florida, including subdivision permitting, water and wastewater resource planning, and environmental permitting. We have worked with various clients, including municipal agencies, private developers, and landowners, and have successfully completed hundreds of projects.

Our team has provided services to municipalities such as Lake County Board of County Commissioners, City of Tavares, Mount Dora, and serves as City Engineer for the Cities of Umatilla and Fruitland Park. These engineering services have included water supply/distribution design, wastewater collection/treatment design, feasibility studies, roadway design/construction, and plan review.

Our Team

At Wicks Engineering Services, Inc., we believe in the importance of having a quality team that provides exceptional service and expertise. Our team is led by Mr. Kenneth R. (Ted) Wicks, P.E., who founded Wicks Consulting Services, Inc. over 25 years ago. A former Mayor of Tavares and engineer for the County, Mr. Wicks has extensive knowledge and experience in permitting projects in Central Florida.

In December 2012, Mr. Wicks purchased the company assets and resumed ownership and position of President of the firm, changing the name to Wicks Engineering Services, Inc. Under his leadership, our team continues to provide high-quality engineering services to clients throughout Central Florida.
