Our services include geotechnical engineering, subsurface exploration programs, construction support, excavation support, system design, QA/QC inspection, materials testing, and pre-construction condition surveys.

Services

Geotechnical Engineering: We provide comprehensive and site-specific subsurface exploration programs to characterize ground conditions, analyzing them to determine the appropriate foundation design for the site. Our services include shallow and deep foundations, retaining walls, lateral earth support, ground improvement, slope stability, seismic design, pavement design, groundwater control, and bedrock removal.

Construction Support & Observation: Our on-site presence allows us to assess contractor compliance with project plans and specifications, providing engineering input if subsurface conditions vary from those anticipated. Services include observation of fill placement, overexcavation of unsuitable soils, compaction testing, foundation subgrade preparation, laboratory testing of fill material, blast monitoring, pile installation, pile load tests, and excavation support.

QA/QC Inspection & Materials Testing Services: We perform laboratory testing of materials and provide inspection services to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Pre-Construction Condition Surveys: MGA conducts preconstruction and preblast surveys of adjacent properties to identify potential issues and ensure project feasibility.
