Civil Engineering

Pillar Consulting Group was founded by civil engineers who have a no-nonsense approach to site development, and that tradition continues in the firm today. Our civil engineering services are focused on meeting the needs of site and facility owners in the commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. Our experience includes land use approval studies and applications; planned developments; variance requests; erosion and sediment control plans; NPDES 1200C permitting; site clearing and grading, roadway alignment and pavement design; stormwater conveyance, detention, and water quality treatment facilities; sanitary sewage plans; lift stations and pump houses; domestic and fire water distribution, flow testing, modeling and design; small pedestrian and vehicle bridges; and rail and freight facilities. We have a broad, multi-disciplinary team approach, which has contributed to the success of hundreds of projects, especially those with difficult sites that face challenges such as expansive clays, wetlands, limited access, and environmental contamination.
