MCR Engineering, Inc. is a civil engineering and surveying firm that has been serving the Central Valley since 1997. Our firm specializes in land development, master planning, surveying, underground utility, water resource design, and construction administration. We have a team of six licensed professionals and over 2200 completed projects in the Central Valley, making us one of the most experienced firms in the region.

Planning & Entitlements

We recognize the need for buildable, affordable solutions to land development opportunities. Our team takes an active role in the Planning and Entitlement phase of our clients' projects, finding innovative solutions that provide for traffic circulation, water, sewer, and storm drain needs without compromising the quality of the project and the sense of community.

Engineering & Design

Our capable and well-trained staff is equipped with the best design tools available in the industry. We have ample experience in subdivision improvement plans, commercial and industrial site improvements, municipal projects, and schools. We believe that a good engineer is a well-rounded engineer with a wide range of experience and knowledge to offer his clients. We strive not to "pigeon hole" our employees into doing only one specific function or one particular type of project over and over.

Surveying, Inspection & Construction Management

Surveying is a vital component of the design and construction process. Consequently, MCR Engineering's survey department has been formed specifically to meet the needs of the design team and contractor for each individual project. From the shop drawing review to field inspection services, we have the technical skills and personnel necessary to assist our clients through the construction phase of each project we design.

LEGACY

Tony Marshall, the original "M" in MCR, was the founder and president of the company for 22 years. He had a hand in just about every project that MCR worked on and was noted for his people skills and ability to reach consensus with clients, the public, and members of the design team with diverse views on complex issues. He had a unique ability to take complex engineering problems and explain them in simple and easy-to-understand ways. Our firm is grounded in the roots and philosophy of our late founder, and we strive to carry over this philosophy to all of our clients and employees.

MCR Engineering, Inc. was founded in 1997 in Manteca, California, with two main objectives in mind. These objectives were providing excellent service by maintaining a focus on the essential things that make our client's projects successful and building lasting relationships with our clients that are rooted in professionalism, trust, and mutual respect. Today, we are still grounded in these same values, with over a third of our employees being seasoned, licensed professionals. We are committed to the long-term interests of our clients and in shaping the growth of the central valley.
