Wetland Restoration

At Upright Engineering, we have extensive experience in designing and implementing wetland restoration projects. Our lead engineer, Austin Payne, has over 10 years of experience restoring wetlands in the Bay Area and California. With a background in planning, designing, and managing wetland restoration projects, Austin brings valuable expertise to your project.

Our experience includes:

• The $18 million tidal restoration project at Sears Point in Sonoma County, which restored 960 acres of subsided Baylands.
• The $15 million project at the Eden Landing Ecological Reserve in Alameda County, which restored 675 acres of tidal wetlands and enhanced 400 acres of managed ponds.
