Our History

In 1967, Harley Swenson and Edward Hagen, both professional engineers and registered land surveyors, founded Swenson, Hagen & Company, a civil engineering and land surveying firm specializing in providing land planning, site planning and design, municipal engineering and land surveying services to the Bismarck-Mandan area and surrounding community. Since then, we have grown and expanded our services to include hydrology and landscape architecture, and have been actively involved in the growth and development of the central North Dakota area for over four decades.
