Yohn Engineering is a Civil Engineering firm located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, specializing in obtaining site permits and land development approval, as well as stormwater management design for Residential, Commercial, and Institutional projects of any size. Our firm has a range of experience, from providing a small permit plan set for a homeowner to a full land development plan set for a large developer. We can adapt to any project size and provide the same level of service regardless.

We are a young company with energetic employees willing to burn the midnight oil in order to meet deadlines. Our founder, Christopher C. Yohn, P.E., CPESC, graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in General Business. Chris interned for a local company named Momenee and Associates, Inc. and upon graduating, he was hired full time. After thirteen years of progressive experience, Chris decided it was time to start his own firm. He has experienced excellent growth through the first few years and is looking to make Yohn Engineering one of the most respected civil engineering companies in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Chris is a Professional Engineer and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sedimentation Control. He has been involved in various charities and volunteer activities, including the Riverbend Environmental Education Center, Spring Valley YMCA, Spring Ford Youth Basketball, and Upper Providence Township.

Our Services

At Yohn Engineering, we offer a variety of services to help our clients navigate the complex process of obtaining site permits and land development approval. We understand that permits are necessary for most construction projects, whether you'd like to build a deck, pool, addition, new house, or a seventy-lot subdivision. We work hard to get our clients' approvals in an efficient and timely manner.

Our services include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Site Permits: We can help determine which permits you will need, approximately how long they will take to obtain, and prepare all of the required plans and documentation required to obtain the permits. We can help determine the applicable impervious and disturbance thresholds and whether full stormwater management will be required or in some cases, a simplified version can be used.

• Subdivision and Land Development: When your project is of a larger scale or involves more complex engineering and planning, we can provide a full land development plan set for your project.

We serve several areas in Pennsylvania, including Montgomery County, Chester County, Delaware County, Berks County, and Bucks County. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of service to our clients and look forward to helping you with your next project.
