Our History
Founded in 2001 by four principal employees of Nooter Fabricating, with over 120 total years of experience, OPENSO has a distinct market advantage. Our team's comprehensive expertise spans from fabrication to engineering, ensuring that we can develop innovative solutions to complex design issues and failures. Our President, Khalil Rabiei, was previously the Chief Engineer for Nooter Fabricators Inc. (NFI) and Engineering Manager for Nooter Consulting Services (NCS).
Our Management Team
Our management team consists of experienced professionals with a deep understanding of the industry. Khalil Rabiei, our Principal Engineer, has extensive expertise in structural engineering, with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanics and Materials from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the same institution. He is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states and is also involved with various professional societies, such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, and American Society of Professional Engineers.
