Our Story

Narragansett Engineering Inc. (NEI) is a homegrown Rhode Island firm with over 35 years of experience serving a diverse clientele within the commercial, residential, and institutional sectors. Founded in 1985 by Kamal Hingorany, PE, PLS, and Bob Mastin, a local entrepreneur, NEI is a name deeply rooted in the spirit of the region, paying homage to the indigenous Narragansett tribes. Today, the second generation leads the company under the capable guidance of Neal Hingorany, MS, PLS, who assumed the role of president in 2018.
