IG Consulting

IG Consulting, Inc., is an interdisciplinary consulting firm, staffed by highly trained and licensed engineers and surveyors, and technical support staff. We provide a range of engineering, planning, and construction support services to private and public sector clients. We serve the specialized requirements of federal, state, and municipal roadway managers. As well as civil engineering; site planning; support during the plan approval and development entitlement process; land surveying; and on-site construction consultation.

The two corporate entities INFRACON, INC. and GEOCON, LTD., merged to establish IG Consulting, Inc. Our corporation allows us to streamline business operations, enhance our offering of professional services, and helps us to focus on innovative engineering solutions.

Civil Engineering

Civil engineers specialize in the design and construction of public works. Civil engineers design, construct and supervise large public works such as roads, buildings, large residential developments, etc. At IG Consulting, we provide civil engineering as well as site planning, support during the plan approval and development entitlement process; land surveying; and on-site construction consultation. Additional in-house capabilities include expert court testimony, land development consulting, stormwater management planning and design, water supply and distribution analysis, on-site wastewater treatment facility evaluation and design, and surveying with GPS technology.

Utility Locating Services

Due to the growing number of municipalities whose permitting processes require the location of existing utilities, IG Consulting, Inc. now offers our own utility location service. This new service accents our core concept of providing clients with complete care for their projects from conception to completion. Using the latest technology, our trained staff will efficiently and accurately locate and flag your underground facilities in a timely manner in accordance with state regulations to ensure safe and successful on-site excavation. Our utility locating services include public utility location, private utility location, utility records search and data reporting of cable television lines, electric lines, fiber optic cable, gas lines, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, telephone lines, and water lines.

Residential Planning

IG Consulting offers residential planning services. We are careful to engineer our residential planning to minimize the impact on the environment, and while incorporating the beautiful and well-planned design. We evaluate everything from floodplain areas to potential traffic to ensure each of our residential plans are the most efficient they can be. Possible services include land planning, site civil design, surveying, construction staking, entitlements, floodplain compensation, wetland mitigation designs, street reconstruction, approvals, construction staking, condominium surveys, stormwater basins, boundary, and topographical surveying.
