Geotech Incorporated is a full-service civil engineering and land surveying firm serving clients throughout northeastern Illinois since 1966. Our staff is committed to providing consistent communication, innovation design solutions, and a collaborative approach to efficiently guide the project through the planning, plan preparation, permitting, and construction phases of development. This commitment to professional excellence has garnered a loyal following of repeat clients for the firm over the last 50 years!

Our principals and project managers are actively involved in the planning, design, and permitting phases; bringing experience and expertise to each project. The majority of our team has been practicing in the Will County area for at least 20 years and have developed key relationships with various communities, permitting authorities, contractors, and design professionals. The experience and leadership of our management team provides our clients confidence that their project is in good hands.

Leadership

Christopher Papesh, P.L.S. - President/Director of Land Surveying

Chris is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Illinois and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University. In addition to overseeing the preparation of various plats by the survey department, Chris is also active with the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association, serving on various board and committees at both the local chapter and state levels. Chris was selected to serve as a co-editor for the Illinois Boundary Law Book (2013 Edition) and is often consulted to provide assistance on complicated boundary and legal description issues.

Thomas Carroll, P.E. - Vice President/Director of Engineering

Tom holds Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois. Tom has over 20 years of experience in the design of site improvements, underground utilities, and storm water management systems for a wide array of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. In addition to his consulting experience, Tom has also served as the Chief Subdivision Engineer for Will County Land Use and as the Director of the Will County Stormwater Management Committee.
