Our History

Founded in 1981 by Lloyd McKinney, Custom Manufacturing started as a small operation in a rented facility. However, due to rapid growth, we quickly outgrew the space and constructed our new building in 1988. An addition was made to the facility in 1991, further expanding our capabilities.

Our Claim to Fame

We are proud to have worked in collaboration with a local medical device manufacturer to create a custom designed case for the legendary comedian, Jerry Lewis. This project showcased our ability to work closely with clients to deliver high-quality, custom solutions that meet their specific needs.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services designed to meet the unique needs of our clients. These services include:

• Design & Engineering: Our team of experienced engineers and designers work closely with clients to develop innovative solutions that meet their specific requirements. From concept to prototype, we ensure that every detail is meticulously considered to deliver the best possible outcome.

• Prototyping & Tooling: With state-of-the-art equipment and expert technicians, we can quickly and accurately produce prototypes and tooling for our clients' projects. This allows for rapid testing and refinement of designs before moving into full-scale production.

• Injection Molding: We have presses ranging from 28 to 550 tons with shot sizes from 1.5 oz to 80 oz. Additionally, we have vertical presses for insert molding and offer overmolding, assembly, and finishing services to ensure that every product meets our clients' expectations.

• Secondary Operations: Our secondary operations include assembly, finishing, and packaging. We can provide these services either as standalone operations or as part of a comprehensive manufacturing solution.

• Quality: At Custom Manufacturing and Engineering, we are committed to delivering the highest quality products and services. Our team of experienced quality control professionals ensures that every product meets our clients' specifications and exceeds their expectations.

• Fulfillment: We offer flexible fulfillment options, including JIT (Just In Time) warehousing, Safety Stock Program, and extended warehousing. These services are designed to help our clients manage their inventory efficiently and reduce production costs.
