Ifland Engineers, Inc. has a rich history that spans over five decades. Our journey began in 1962, when Glen Ifland, a visionary entrepreneur, approached his brothers, Don and Richard, with a proposal to start an engineering firm in Santa Cruz, California. After careful consideration, they agreed to join forces and launch the company.

One of the most notable projects in our history is the design of the famous Santa Cruz Lighthouse, which was completed in 1964. Another notable project is the town clock, which was moved to its current location in 1976 and features a structural design provided by our firm.
