Established with a vision to deliver high-quality engineering solutions, our company has grown to become a leading provider of project management and permit acquisition services for utility construction and repairs in the City of Baltimore. Our president is a Maryland Registered Professional Engineer with a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to our firm. With a background in managing design and construction contracts involving street, highway, traffic, and utilities, our leadership provides the foundation for the company's success.

Throughout our 33-year history, we have cultivated a strong relationship with local government agencies, ensuring that our projects meet and exceed the standards and specifications set by Baltimore City. Our services have been instrumental in the improvement of various zones within the City's Transportation Department, such as the Greenmount, Hampton, and Bolton Hill areas of the Jones Falls, and the East Baltimore Region.

Company Profile

As a MBE/DBE Certified Company and a certified small business with MBE/Prequalification Certification, Baker Engineering Services boasts a robust portfolio of successful projects, including the management and permitting of utility construction and repairs in the City of Baltimore. We currently oversee construction management responsibilities on several sewer projects within Baltimore City's Department of Public Works, such as Improvements to Sanitary Sewers in Greenmount, Hampton, and Bolton Hill areas of the Jones Falls and Improvements to Sanitary Sewers in the East Baltimore Region, as well as High-level Interceptor Cleaning projects.

Baker Engineering Services is growing and looking for qualified individuals to join our dynamic team. We are currently seeking applicants for the following positions:

• Inspector 1
• Inspector 2

Both Inspector positions require a minimum of 2-4 years of experience related to construction inspection. For Inspector 2, sediment/erosion control certification (Green / Yellow card) and concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and Temporary Traffic Control certifications are mandatory. Applicants should have excellent communication and time management skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
