At CKS Technologies, LLC, we are a woman-owned small business located in Huntsville, AL, dedicated to providing expert engineering services to both government and industry. Our CEO, Cherry Sisk, PE, founded the company in 2011 with the goal of offering highly focused, professional engineering services that cater to the needs of our clients. We have multiple licensed Professional Engineers on staff and are proud members of several contract teams, including D3I, SeaPort-e, TESTLA, and AMCOM EXPRESS.

Structural Analysis

CKS Technologies utilizes our expertise in structural (stress, dynamics, fatigue, fracture, composites) analysis to solve problems utilizing classical analytical methods and finite element analysis. We have extensive experience using software tools including FEMAP, NASTRAN, MATHCAD, and PATRAN. We own all the necessary software licenses to perform structural analysis.

Thermal Analysis

We have extensive experience performing thermal and thermal stress analysis utilizing tools such as Thermal Desktop, SINDA/G, SINDA/FLUINT, TRASYS, and P3/THERMAL. Our experience includes electronics heat dissipation, avionics sizing, touch temperature studies, thermal expansion, dissimilar material tolerance studies, thermal stress, thermal radiation analysis, convective heat transfer, orbital thermal analyses, and vacuum systems.

Mechanical/Electrical Design

Our capabilities include mechanical and electrical design, from requirements research and establishment through conceptualization, feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design (including CAD), optimization, and production planning. Our software expertise includes Creo, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, and Altium Designer.

Systems Engineering

Our systems engineering expertise includes test and evaluation, independent verification and validation, requirements management, project management, safety assessments, and failure review and analysis.
