(SES) was incorporated in March, 2004, with the mission to provide professional civil engineering and land surveying services to clients in the public and private sectors. Located in Griffin, GA, just 39 miles south of Atlanta, SES offers a unique blend of expertise and personalized service. Our team of experienced professionals has collectively amassed over 90 years of experience in civil engineering and land surveying, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible solutions for their projects.

Services

Our services range from civil engineering due diligence and planning to commercial developments, municipal infrastructure, roadway design, water and sewer design, recreational development, industrial development, and residential developments. We also provide surveying services including boundary and topographic surveys, easement surveys, construction staking, builder services, ALTA as-built surveys, route surveys, utility surveys, quantity surveys, photogrammetric/GPS control, FEMA elevation certification, and GDOT pre-qualification for both engineering and land surveying. Our innovative approach and top-of-the-line equipment enable us to deliver efficient and cost-effective solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Our Team

At SES, we pride ourselves on building solid and honest relationships with our clients. Our team is led by Michael J. Scanlon, P.E., and Susan M. Scanlon, who are both co-founders and owners of the company. Michael, a Professional Civil Engineer, has over 20 years of experience in designing detailed plans and specifications for various civil and environmental engineering projects. Susan handles all financial operations and manages Human Resources, ensuring the integrity and smooth functioning of the company. Other key members include Mark Andrew Buckner, RLS, who brings extensive experience in land surveying to the team.
